Hidden away in the Southern Gulf Islands of BC, this private residence has ocean views from almost every room. With distinct architectural design elements throughout, this home was purposely built to resemble an historical visitor's lodge.

In every corner and on every scale, quality is embedded into this custom home; the copper roof, the live edge cedar plank siding, the timber frame structure, the super insulated building envelope, the petrified wood countertops, the old world door hardware, and all the way down to civil war era chestnut flooring throughout, this home is a reflection of our client's love for design, craftsmanship, and connection to the land.

Queens Ave. Urban Upgrade

This old building has been given new life with the addition of seven up-to-date, well-appointed suites that have increased the number of affordable housing rentals in the Greater Victoria area. The modern structural upgrades and the tasteful design details will ensure comfortable living for many years to come.

This contemporary West Coast inspired home is well underway. It features clean bold lines, warm wood accents, functional open spaces, and a connection between the indoors and outdoors. Noteworthy design features include geothermal radiant heat throughout, super insulation, a spa-like steam shower, and an executive kitchen.

Sidney Island Timber Frame

The deteriorating condition of a 100 year old barn necessitated the construction of this newly built, modern, energy-efficient building. The entire exterior is clad in 26 gauge metal to last the next 100 years. This project includes stain grade VG Fir trim throughout and polished concrete floors.

Mile Zero Coffee Co.

Mile Zero Coffee Co. is a small batch custom coffee roaster on Vancouver Island – a place we love to call home. This tenant improvement was completed in February of 2020 using reclaimed Douglas Fir throughout to build the tables, benches, and shelves.

Be sure to swing by to grab a cup of coffee and check out the custom craftsmanship and fine finishing details. If you like great coffee, there’s no better place to start than Mile Zero (and they have ice cream sandwiches too!!).
